In a urban expansion area of the city, a conflictive area where the railway track intersects with one of the most important access arteries of Granada, the project aims to find an urban planning solution, developing a relationship between a pedestrian corridor through the own building and creating a new green corridor that solves the contact with the railway.
The new building develops the functions of a Computer Sciences Research Centre under a continuous cover which serves as a pedestrian circuit to solve the connection between the neighborhood and the city under the railway. Moreover, it facilitates the access to the urban block, where some other public and service buildings are placed. All the pedestrian circuit allows reconnecting two points of the city separated until now, with some and important communication problems, turning the problem into a solution, recovering the railway surroundings as a green line and a cycle and pedestrian path.

A building without a facade, without formal hierarchies, where the important activities are developed above and below. Reconfiguring this way a complex urban corner and reconnecting the city.
